Community Healthcare
Shree Shakti Consciousness Foundation’s Healthcare Programs focus on immunization and eradication of diseases in adopted communities
What We Do ?
In both accessible and remote areas of India SSCF provides necessary support to its adopted communities to enable them to live a wholesome life.
In the accessible areas of the country, SSCF works at the root by conducting monthly medical camps which are frequented by hundreds of patients each month who are treated by well – known seasoned Indian doctors who are an active part of SSCF. Each patient is carefully examined and prescribed and dispensed proper medication for immunization and eradication of diseases including seasonal diseases which are identified to afflict the community in whole. SSCF bears all infrastructure, administrative and medicinal expenses.
In the remote areas of the country, such as small villages located in the hills, SSCF works by enabling Primary Health Care Centres through making electricity more accessible by installation of solar panels which in turn helps immunize and eradicate diseases. The continuous clean energy, provided by SSCF, has helped store lifesaving vaccines and anti-venoms which were earlier unavailable.
Why SSCF Started Healthcare Camps?
Driven with the desire to provide a wholesome life for its adopted communities SSCF in its formative days wanted to start close to home and found that a village in the vicinity of its establishment lacked proper medical facilities. Thereafter, as SSCF found success in addressing concerns of its adopted villages close to home it established a foothold in the hills of Uttarakhand where it faced newer challenges. Astounded by the fact that the remote villages in the hills could not access lifesaving vaccines and anti-venoms on account of inaccessibility to continuous electricity, SSCF took it upon itself to generate power to meet, among other challenges, the challenge of setting up cold storage facilities.
